DigitalPakt Schule – Your path to digital teaching

1. Where and who can apply for the funds?

The Federal Government has concluded administrative and supplementary agreements with the Länder. Within this framework, the states can call up costs from the federal funds in the DigitalPakt Schule.

The funds for schools can be applied for by school authorities (such as towns and municipalities) for subsidies from the state for their planned measures. Each federal state has its own funding guidelines for this, which specify, among other things, when applications can be submitted and from which office you can receive funding. 2. Which things are supported with the DigitalPakt funds?

Special digital work equipment such as site-based display devices (e.g. interactive whiteboards) are eligible. If infrastructure components are already represented according to the pedagogical concept of a school, mobile terminals can also be requested to a limited extent. However, the share of funding for mobile terminals may not exceed 20% of all funding per school board.

3) How can schools promote digitalization now?

To apply for funding from the DigitalPakt, schools must submit a technical-pedagogical concept (e.g. a media development plan). The details of the concept are prescribed by the countries.
